Formed some 20 years ago, with the active support of
Nuffield College, Oxford, the Friends of Nuffield Place are now a Registered
Charity.
What do the Friends do?
The Friends are a dedicated and enthusiastic group of volunteers
whose object is to maintain and promote this important piece of 20th century
history. As well as stewarding on Open Days, the Friends are active in
collecting memorabilia and in encouraging educational group visits to Nuffield
Place.
They:
 |
Aim to preserve Lord and Lady Nuffield's personal
possessions, retrieving some when possible |
 |
Tell other people about Nuffield Place and
encourage interest in Nuffield Place |
 |
Encourage Morris, M.G., Wolseley, and Riley car
owners to remember the great man who developed these cars |
